Cherry wood produces a kitchen that is warm, inviting and showcases character through the wood grain patterns.
Cherry is a rich and multi-colored hardwood distinguished by it’s flowing grain pattern.
Color varies from light to deep reddish brown and will darken or mellow with age.
Mineral streaks, pitch pockets, pin knots and sapwood all occur naturally in cherry and are considered not to be defects but rather, character.
Cherry is best with a stain to mellow the striped effect that it can have. Cherry accepts stain beautifully and evenly.
